Pyrolysis Ovens Repositioned for Heavy-Duty Work

A smarter layout, safer handling, and the space to take on jobs that simply weren’t possible before.

We’ve recently relocated our pyrolysis ovens to the rear of the site, creating a far more practical and efficient setup for processing large and heavy components. The ovens now face directly out into the courtyard, each with its own dedicated shutter, allowing clear and direct access.

This new arrangement means forklifts can drive straight in and out of each oven, removing the need for manual fitting during loading. As a result, handling is safer, faster, and far less restrictive, particularly when dealing with oversized or high-weight items.

By eliminating manual handling limitations, the new layout significantly increases our capacity. We can now confidently accommodate larger and heavier components, improving both workflow and turnaround times while reducing risk to personnel and equipment.

This upgrade prepares us for the next stage of work, including future jobs such as 5-tonne stator cores and large industrial wheels—projects that would not have been possible without this setup. It’s another step forward in building a site designed for serious, heavy-duty processing.
